Ceramics and Nerikomi
Ceramics and Nerikomi was a door opened to me recently. I am exploring every shape and size I can find in ceramics and wanting to experiment with glazes. With Nerikomi, I want to continue exploring what different elements effects the clay body, whether in technique or in color.

You and Me Series
You and Me is a mini series that expresses my interest in the deaf and blind community. All the pieces in the series are connected through you and me spelled out in braille in the middle of the piece. It is also visually connected through the 2D design that is transferred on each piece. It was really interesting to see that the shape of the piece effected the design.

Untitled
This piece is a Nerikomi bowl. It was made with dyed blue and yellow clayed and then thrown on the wheel and swirled. This piece is the first successful Nerikomi piece and it got me excited to learn more about Nerikomi.
