Capturing Memories Through Art Series

I Have recently found that I have Alzheimer's is in my family. If you know me, I already have a bad memory, so the fact I have a higher chance of having Alzheimer's scares me. I wanted to find a way to preserve the memories that have impacted my life, so I can save and share what has made me!

This piece was made to capture when I knew that I had a godly friendngroup and a godly fiance. It had been a prayer I was praying for years, and in this moment I knew God had answered it.

Self-Portrait

This piece was made to experiment with different textures and how that would look in a polygon art style. The memory connected to this piece was when I was shopping during COVID-19, and was still trying to keep a sense of normalcy

The Beginning

This piece represents the memory of when I knew I was going to marry my fiance. The memory is very precious to me because we were doing something as simple as walking in a park. But when I was walking, I knew that I wanted to do all the simple things with him.

Important Places: My Space

I wanted to save not only memories dealing with people, but also with places. This place is important to me, because it is my first apartment and my first time away from home. This bed was where I found myself and got closer in my relationship with God.

Important Places: Nina's

Nina's house is very important to me and my family. Every time the family gathers we go to Nina's, any birthdays we go to Nina's. We even meet for lunch every Sunday after church at Nina's. I have lots of memories at Nina's and I want to remember them all
